Practical Life - Our practical life area includes grace, courtesy, control of movement, care of person, care of the environment and practical skills for successful daily living.
Sensorial- The sensorial area includes refinement of the visual, auditory, tactile, gustatory and olfactory senses. Sensorial refinement helps reinforce the goals of practical life and assists children in developing their skills to observe, compare, judge, decide and reason, to learn good problem solving techniques and develop logical thinking.
Geography and Cultural Studies -As we study the seven continents of our world, children learn through the study of science, music, art, history and geography in these areas. This helps the children learn to appreciate the beauty and grandeur of our home and different areas on the earth. Our children learn to understand the diversity of life and culture in different parts of the world.
Language Arts - Our language area helps students improve listening, speaking, reading and writing skills to help them appreciate the beauty of our language and to understand the power of language and expression of abstract concepts.
Mathematics - The decimal system, numeration, linear counting and mathematical operations are included in our mathematics area. Math is used to increase thinking, reasoning and problem solving skills, in order to move toward more abstract thinking and to help understand the concepts underlying mathematical principals.
